Charlie Boning has been an avid boater since age ten. He grew up cruising, fishing, and crabbing on the Mullica River in southern New Jersey. Later, he fished out of Freeport, on the south shore of Long Island and held a 50-ton, 100-mile license. He has resided in Florida since 1988, and is familiar with waters of the Treasure Coast and Palm Beaches. He has owned a Blackfin, a Rampage, and two Boston Whalers.
Charlie has also been an attorney since 1996. After graduating Order of the Coif (top 10%) from the University of Florida College of Law, he served as a staff attorney with the Florida Legislature. He was responsible for shepherding key items of legislation through the process. He moved to private practice in 2001. Since then, his focus has been on appellate law, commercial litigation, and contract law. Within the legal community, he has earned a reputation for integrity, fair dealing, and conscientious representation. He brings these qualities with him to United Yacht Sales.
Besides practicing law, Charlie is a published author, having written more than 30 titles. His book, Florida’s Rivers, was nominated for a Florida Book Award in 2007. It provides detailed information on 60 waterways, covering each from its source to its discharge. Other interests include maritime history, ocean liners, tropical agriculture, and fossils.
Charlie takes pride in ensuring customer satisfaction and looks forward to representing your interests.
