I was raised in the great Pacific Northwest. My father was an avid boater, which is where I learned and developed my boating skills on the Puget Sound .
Working for my father at the young age of 13, my desire for boating began. By age 14 I purchased my first boat and there started my journey and love for boating and being on the water.
In 1971 joined a crew of four to transport a 27ft Owens boat to Juneau Alaska from Seattle through the Inland Passage. This was a life changing event for me as it was then I knew my life was devoted to boating.
In 1986 I accepted a transfer to central Florida where I eventually made Merritt Island my home and brought with me a love for boating.
Over many years I have purchased and renovated numerous boats. I have traveled from the Keys to Norfolk as well as making several trips to the Bahamas and Abbacos.
I currently live on my 43ft Viking DCMY and am recently retired from a successful 35 year career with Lockheed Martin. I now find myself excited to have the time to not only enjoy the boating life, but to share my many years of knowledge and experience with others.
