Captain Serena Barreau was born in Eastern North Carolina. At the young age of 15, Serena moved to SW Florida. Here, her father and grandfather introduced her to boating and all things connected with the water. “They gave me a love for the sea that grew with me. The first boat I worked and traveled on was a 64’ Hatteras Motor Yacht out of the Legacy Harbour Marina in Fort Myers.”
Earning a 100-Ton US Coast Guard Masters License, Serena has spent 15 years enjoying a life around the ocean logging over 40,000 nautical miles.
Joining United Yacht Sales was the next natural step where she obtained her Yacht Broker’s license. Serena works with buyers and sellers on their first boat purchase and with those who are looking to sell/upgrade.
