Randel Thompson is an ocean governance professional, who has been in the marine and boating sector over the past 10 years. He has vast knowledge of the marine and boating sector in the Eastern Caribbean and, as such, has developed successful working relations with many stakeholders across the Caribbean.
His love for the water developed since he was a young lad growing up on the Caribbean island of St. Kitts and it grew when he worked with the St. Christopher and Nevis’ Department of Marine Resources for 5 years as a marine officer.
Randel’s passion for development in the marine sector drove the formation of his own business, Fisher Care Marine in 2015, an outboard motor dealership and retail store in St. Kitts & Nevis. The inception of the business came about to provide a solution to the growing frustration of fishers and boat operators who found it difficult to access quality boats, fishing gears, equipment, outboard motors and their necessary replacement and servicing parts. He has also been a local broker for many boaters in his area.
Randel will go above and beyond to make sure his customers get the boat that they are looking for and are pleased with his service. He also enjoys traveling to the Miami International boat shows, going to the beach, and supporting his customers locally – fishermen, ferry operators, boat charters, tour guides and pleasure boaters.
