Colin Scott

Colin Scott is originally from Bucks County Pennsylvania, and spent his childhood visiting his grandparents in Cape May, NJ. He quickly developed a passion for fishing and took every opportunity to be on the water. During the weekends he could be found fishing the surf day and night, or fishing with friends on various different vessels.

His passion for the ocean led him to study at Eckerd College located in St. Petersburg, FL. During his time in Florida, he took the opportunity to work at the school’s marina where he was able to get hands-on work experience with all of the school’s vessels. Through the marina, Colin and his roommate led school-sponsored fishing trips on a 21’ Seacat. He also played on the school’s men’s rugby team as a starting player for two years, and celebrated a top 10 national ranking. Outside of school, Colin summered in Cape May where he began detailing sportfishing boats for a local company. This job gave him the opportunity to professionally maintain boats ranging from 10-70ft.

Away from work, Colin can be found fishing around Cape May, at the gym, or at home building fishing rods.
