Cody grew up fishing and diving off the Texas Gulf Coast. There he completed his MBA from the University of Houston during his five year career at NASA. After leaving the aerospace industry he decided to follow his true passion of fishing, working several years on various Merritt sportfish boats up to 72 feet.
Currently, Cody works as a full-time Captain and holds a 500GT master’s license. He spent the last 8 years with an established yachting program, working on multiple new builds up to 150 feet. Cody’s education and professional experience offer his clients extensive knowledge ranging from the advisement of insurance, dealing with the intricacies of towing small and large vessels, recruiting, and developing world-class crews for owners, new build and state compliance, and the latest advancements in electronic, mechanical, and safety systems.
Cody provides his clients with a well-informed and guided experience through the entire process of yacht ownership and strives to help his clients develop long-lasting successful yachting programs.
