    Introduction

Creative styling, a spacious interior and quality construction make the Sea Ray 420 Aft Cabin Motor Yacht a popular yacht amongst buyers seeking a luxury yacht!  The sleek profile of the 420 speaks volumes about Sea Ray’s ability to incorporate European styling influences in an American-built yacht.  Yet amazingly Sea Ray manages to pack more interior space than seems possible in a yacht her size!

This boat has the 3 stateroom / 2 head layout - room for the whole gang!

This is a Caterpillar diesel engine powered boat!   Here is your chance to get a proven Cat diesel-powered boat for the price of a gas boat!  Diesel fuel costs less than gas does on the water, so you will save money in fuel costs.  Plus, diesel engines are more robust and provide more power.   In addition, your boat won’t smell like gasoline fumes and you won’t have to worry about volatile gasoline vapors blowing up the boat.

In addition, compared to the other diesel-powered Sea Ray 420s out there, this boat was optioned with the larger 420 HP Caterpillar 3126 diesel engines!   Why is this important?  Because generally speaking an engine’s longevity is a function of the load in which it was run at.  IE: generally speaking an engine run all the time at 100% load will not last as long as the engine run at 75% load.  So, when the same boat is offered with multiple engine options - go with the larger engine!   The larger engine will need to run at less of a load compared to the smaller engine in order to achieve the equivalent speed.  Bottom line:  prefer the larger engines that were easier used over the smaller engines that were ratted out!   This is a major upgrade!

This boat just underwent the most intensive exterior and interior detail that money can buy (including compound / polish / wax).  She already was frequently washed and waxed, but her current owner decided to pull out all of the stops for this listing.  Sea Ray already had the reputation for high quality finishes that shine, now this beauty shines better than boats I’ve seen at three times the price!   She has newer canvas and isinglass that are in excellent shape and look awesome!  If looks are important to you, stop looking and call now to make an offer before someone else does!
