  • 32 Nordic Tugs 32 1999 Additional Information:

LEELOO is a stunning and amazing NT 32 that has been lovingly cared for by the current owners for the last 10 years.  Outfitted and maintained to perfection, LEELOO has been a fresh water Great Lakes boat her entire life.  A few years ago the owners decided to do the Great Loop and outfitted and updated her to be as close to new as possible.  With 2015 electronics, AWLGRIP green hull paint, new interior fabrics and valances, upper deck weather boards and bimini, and complete engine services, LEELOO shows like a much newer vessel.  No disappointments in this one.  Since starting the loop this late summer she has performed to perfection and is 100% ready to go.

Nordic Tug was officially formed in 1979, when Jerry Husted (President) partnered with Lynn Senour, a renowned Seattle boat designer, to develop plans on a 26 foot Norwegian style vessel that would have the rugged characteristics of a tug boat, provide good fuel economy and also be appealing to woman. With the success of the first prototype in 1980 hull number one came a growing demand for additional models which caused Nordic Tug to expand their product line up to today’s 52 footer. As in the past, all Nordic Tugs are manufactured in the US, with the company relocating to Washington State in 1990 to accommodate expanded operations.

LEELOO comes with this Nordic Tugs heritage, and displays all the unique features that Lynn Senour designed into this vessel. She has a semi-displacement hull with a full keel protecting both the prop and the rudder. With her Cummins 220-hp diesel she can cruise all day at seven   knots or push close to 16 knots when necessary. Her hull has withstood the test of time gaining stability from her design to function very successfully as a long-distance coastal cruiser.
