The Albin 27 was designed in the tradition of the world-famous Albin 25, but with improved performance and accommodations. She is a dependable, seaworthy diesel cruiser with the carefully planned interior for comfortable family boating.
Quality has long been synonymous with the Albin name. A tradition of high construction standards leaves no room for compromise. And layered layers of woven roving produce an exceptionally strong fiberglass hull. The decks in cabins are all reinforced with end cut balsa for added strength in rigidity. However, quality does not stop with the whole alone. The Albin 27 incorporates quality marine hardware in fittings well teak trim and components accent her graceful lines. Many of the essential items for family cruising or included a standard equipment. Albin took great pride in producing boats to ensure owners years and years of cruising pleasure in continued value. The prime consideration in development of the Albin 27 was comfort. As a family cruiser, they created a spacious layout that would truly lend itself to activities.

The deep skeg provides excellent tracking in heavy seas are protecting the router and propeller from accidental grounding. With a 2'6" draft the 27 can reach the most remote inlets and deserted coves. The 27 displays remarkable handling characteristics. The large writer provides excellent maneuverability and forward or reverse and allows the boat to turn almost within her length. The gracefully flared bow deflects the spray and provides a roomy foredeck for sunbathing or handling the anchor in lines.
