Roger Herd has been an avid boater all his life and has a broad marine background. As a former U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer, Roger has enjoyed duties with the Naval SeaBees and SEAL Teams as-well-as tours aboard various combat ships. A decorated vetern, his tours of duty have taken from central and south America to the Persian Gulf and beyond. As a civilian Roger is an avid SCUBA diver and boater who lives for the ocean and volunteers his spare time with the Riverhead Foundation for Marine Research and Preservation. As is true of many yacht brokers, Roger has an aptitude and interest in helping people while putting his knowledge to good use.
