John Baron originally from Detroit, Michigan, has resided in South Florida for the past 28+ years and is a well-known professional within the Yachting Industry.

John began his career in the "Yachting Capital of the World" as the General Manager and Sales Coordinator for Marina Mar, a dry storage facility and full service marina (located next to the famous Shooters Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale, Florida). Managing all aspects of the business for 15 years, he acquired a vast and diversified knowledge of the boating world. When the company sold, this gave him an opportunity to use his hard earned knowledge and put it to work as a licensed Florida Yacht Broker.

With this unique knowledge of the yachting community and the vast amount of business associates, friends and contacts made during those early years, John immediately became acclimated to the Yacht Brokerage market. Through constant study of the marketing trends and always ready to listen and learn, he soon became a valuable asset to the brokerage firm he previously worked with for 12 years, Oviatt Marine, Inc. John had the opportunity to work directly with the shipyard as well as the buyers constructing 5 new Grand Alaskan/Alaskan Motoryachts, ranging from 60’ to 80’. This allowed him to develop strong relationships with his clients, solidifying not only broker/client relationships, but good friendships as well. In addition to the new yacht sales, John has successfully closed a vast amount of brokerage deals, both working with and for the buyers and the sellers.

John's motto has never changed: he strongly believes that "Customer Service is #1." You can rest assured your yachting needs will be met in a professional manner with Johns earnest attention. He never falters or fails, but believes there is an answer for every question and a resolution for every problem. John is one of those individuals that will go the extra distance and will always do "the right thing."
