A rare passion
Fairline is one of England’s largest manufactures of production motor yachts, flybridge sedans and express cruisers. Fairline began as a post-war manufacturer of small power boats used in the local English market. The 1970s and 1980s saw a period of rapid growth and success for Fairline, and they began building larger and more expensive models.
Fairline’s constant momentum and reputation for superior quality has led to their success today. Today Fairline fields a dozen models, with exports to Spain, Norway, France and the United States. Fairline’s Squadron series of motor yachts have been available in North America since 1995. In 1998, Fairline opened an office in Hilton Head, South Carolina. In 1997, the company was purchased by The Renwick Group, a parent company of England’s Marine Projects, which also owns Princess Yachts.
